Rock the Vote!<\/a> brought Foo Fighters frontman and Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl\u00a0 to UCSB on June 2, 2013, to screen his new documentary, \u201cSound City,\u201d followed by a question and answer session with Grohl. The event was UCSB\u2019s reward for ranking as the top university in the nation in terms of voter registration last year. The Office of the EVPSA Nadim Houssain helped spearhead this campus effort.<\/p>\n Did you know that A.S. has a You Tube channel that you can access by clicking here<\/a>. A.S. will be video documenting more and more events in the upcoming years.<\/p>\n During Fall Quarter 2012\u00a0two students, KCSB News Director Bianca Beltran and The Bottom Line Executive Managing Editor Annalise Domenighini, traveled to Tampa, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina to provide remote news coverage of the Republican and Democrat National Conventions. They were supported by Associated Students staff members, KSCB and The Bottom Line News Advisor Monica Lopez and Community Education Outreach Coordinator Allina Mojarro.<\/p>\n Campus radio KCSB 91.9 FM<\/a> once again participated in the UCSB Reads<\/a> program by reading the selected book, Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything<\/em>\u00a0by Joshua Foer<\/a>, on the air.<\/p>\nA.S. on You Tube<\/h2>\n
