Information Agency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.as.ucsb.edu\/asgroup\/AS-Information-Agency\/\">Associated Students Information Agency<\/a> was added to the roster of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.as.ucsb.edu\/get-involved\/current-organizations\">A.S. committees<\/a>.\u00a0As a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.as.ucsb.edu\/government\/legislative-council\/\">Senate<\/a> fellows, members will\u00a0help the Senate by researching topics that are necessary for the Senate to write effective\u00a0legislation.<\/p>\n<p>The new agency\u00a0consists of four subcommittees:<br \/>\n1. Communications: Maintains correspondence with other colleges and universities and<br \/>\ngathers information about various aspects of their student government<br \/>\n2. Records: Preserves files regarding Senate meetings, communication with other<br \/>\nuniversities, and A.S. Information Agency minutes<br \/>\n3. Campus Issues: Concerns itself with student opinions regarding life at UCSB and in Isla<br \/>\nVista through surveys<br \/>\n4. Research and Planning: Studies possible revisions of the present A.S.
