They are also available to groups and individuals for research or to provide these services. Typically when grants are funded they include a provision for the employment of UCSB students as part of the proposed projects. For detailed information on this year&#8217;s funded project, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/coastalfund.as.ucsb.edu\/funded-projects\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>CF also funds the CF Coastal Service Program. The Coastal Service Program gives student organizations the opportunity to raise money while maintaining their local community!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2013-14\/files\/2013\/12\/GEDC0478.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-914\" src=\"https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2013-14\/files\/2013\/12\/GEDC0478.jpg\" alt=\"GE DIGITAL CAMERA\" width=\"720\" height=\"551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2013-14\/files\/2013\/12\/GEDC0478.jpg 720w, https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2013-14\/files\/2013\/12\/GEDC0478-300x229.jpg 300w, https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2013-14\/files\/2013\/12\/GEDC0478-700x535.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Students can participate in a beach or street cleanup and receive\u00a0$100 for their group or can work with a local environmental organization in a restoration project to receive\u00a0$200. All that CF\u00a0asks is for is a brief summary of the group&#8217;s\u00a0experience and pictures to document the project. Organizations can participate in one restoration project or beach\/street cleanup per quarter.
