<\/h2>\nAs in past years, the Community Affairs Board (CAB), UCSB\u2019s Volunteer Action Center, was\u00a0dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of all UCSB Students by providing information and easy access to community service work. Through a wide range of projects and community programs, CAB \u00a0augmented classroom experiences, created opportunities for career exploration, connected UCSB to the community in a meaningful way, and promoted the ethics of public service.<\/p>\n

CAB started the year on September 30 with it’s first general meeting. The invite on Facebook looked like this:<\/p>\n

The Associated Students Community Affairs Board (CAB) is UCSB’s LARGEST student-run volunteer organization on campus, and we will be having our FIRST GENERAL BOARD MEETING this Wednesday at 6pm!<\/p>\n
Free food, new friends, and TONS of different volunteer opportunities including:
\n– Youth
\n– Environmental
\n– Animal
\n– Hunger\/Houseless
\n– Elderly
\n– And MUCH more!<\/p>\n
