QComm provides funding for LGBTQ related events and programs. These include, but are not limited to, sending student delegations to existing and emerging conferences, such as the annual Western Regional Conference and the Queer People of Color Conference; funding events at the annual UCSB Pride, such as drag shows and educational workshops; supporting QComm projects, such as the &#8220;Ask a Queer&#8221; local high school outreach program; and maintaining QComm\u2019s connection and involvement with the local Pacific Pride foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>EVENTS<\/h2>\n<p>Queer Comm started the year with a call for applicants to unfilled positions on the committee.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-620\" src=\"https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2019-20\/files\/2020\/03\/72851035_2665255896831246_4334716917676769280_n.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" height=\"312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2019-20\/files\/2020\/03\/72851035_2665255896831246_4334716917676769280_n.png 820w, https:\/\/flashback.as.ucsb.edu\/2019-20\/files\/2020\/03\/72851035_2665255896831246_4334716917676769280_n-480x183.png 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 820px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Queer Town Halls<\/h3>\n<p>Queer Comm hosted quarterly Queer town halls.
