A.S. strengthens our community by supporting both organizations and individuals. From its inception UCSB undergraduate students have voted to fund a vision of community engagement that A.S. translates into tangible results. The numbers here provide a representative snapshot of those results.

Coastal Fund

Coastal Fund funded 43 projects, which provided 187 student internships paying a total of $109,533 for the year. They also helped fund the work of 11 local and on-campus organizations that help restore, preserve, and enhance our coastal environment. Total funds granted this year: $266,878!

 Cashiers & Ticket Office

Cashiers and Ticket Office Staff

Cashiers & Ticket Office sold tickets to x events, x theme parks. It also processed x short term loans to help students bridge gaps in their finances.

Program Board

This year Program Board presented numerous major events, 22 free concerts in Storke Plaza, and 30 free movies at the IV Theater. Nearly 10,000 students attended this year’s student produced, end-of-the-year Extravaganza festival in Harder Stadium.

A.S. employed over 300 students this year in a wide range of jobs. Their dedication keeps A.S. running and the skills they learned will no doubt serve them well in the work they do after graduation.
