The Legislative Council (Leg Council) is the supreme policymaking body of UCSB Associated Students. Representatives are elected during campus-wide elections every Spring quarter. The elections are administered by the A.S. Elections Committee.

This year’s Legislative Council voted to change its own name to the A.S. Senate. The incoming 2012/2013 legislators began their year of service as Senators. In addition to this name change Leg Council addressed a number of issues in the course of the year.
