A.S. Information Agency

This year the Associated Students Information Agency was added to the roster of A.S. committees. As a Senate fellows, members will help the Senate by researching topics that are necessary for the Senate to write effective legislation.

The new agency consists of four subcommittees:
1. Communications: Maintains correspondence with other colleges and universities and
gathers information about various aspects of their student government
2. Records: Preserves files regarding Senate meetings, communication with other
universities, and A.S. Information Agency minutes
3. Campus Issues: Concerns itself with student opinions regarding life at UCSB and in Isla
Vista through surveys
4. Research and Planning: Studies possible revisions of the present A.S. UCSB to provide
more effectiveness and plan projects related to the internal function of A.S.
