The Elections Committee coordinates all phases of the A.S. and Campus Elections processes. Since the elections are the cornerstone of A.S.’s role on campus, maintaining their integrity is of utmost importance. The students and A.S. staff involved in this process spend countless hours ensuring that integrity and making sure that all students have the opportunity to vote.

Although students have been able to vote online for several years, this was the first year candidates were able to apply for candidacy online.

After the polls close the committee sequesters itself upstairs in the A.S. building to tally the results and preparations are made to announce the winners. At this stage the committee members can eat and relax before the results are announced in Corwin Pavilion. For more photos of election night click here.
