A.S. employs over 300 students each year! This year was no exception.

FOOD BANK STATS

The A.S. Food Bank began operations in April, 2011. As of June 10, 2011 its last day of operation for the Spring Quarter, the A.S. Food Bank had received 6531 donated items and distributed 3692 items to 113 students who came in a total of 216 times. As can be seen from these numbers, some students came to the Food Bank multiple times.

Winter 2011: 54 interns, $32,778.00

CAB CARE FAIR

CAB’s annual CARE Fair was attended by about 400 students and brought a wide spectrum of local and national non-profit organizations and support services to Corwin Pavilion. Nearly 50 organizations provided information about volunteer opportunities, internships, and employment serving the community.

CAREER FAIR

The Annual Career Expo sponsored by the Community Affairs Board and Career Services brought 43 employers ranging from humanitarian organizations to several defense contractors to campus. The event facilitates networking and provides information about the benefits of community involvement.
