FINANCE BOARD
INTRODUCTION
Associated Students’ Finance Board helps registered student organizations put on successful events, provide necessary student services, hold conferences, and fund championship aspiring teams. The people who sit on Finance Board are tasked with the careful deliberation and the decision of the approval of funding for student groups. The Finance Board is composed of a diverse group of people that come from different interest, perspectives, and walks of life in an effort to ensure the fairness and the representation of the student body of UCSB. The Finance Board is responsible for allocating a yearly budget of over $9.4 million that is used to foster leadership, give to the community, and enhance the experience of UCSB students.
