COMMITTEE ON COMMITTEES

INTRODUCTION

The mission of Committee on Committees (CoC) is to help students find out about all the opportunities waiting for them in Associated Students. With over 60 student organizations, it’s easy to find a place to get involved. On the CoC website committees, boards, and groups post their openings and provide students with the details needed to apply.

GETTING INVOLVED

Associated Students is a big organization, with all sorts of unique opportunities in both leadership and general membership. To find something that interests them, students can start with the CoC Search Page. It allows them to learn about all the CoC student groups and helps narrow down their decisions. Students are also always welcome to come to the CoC office in the AS Main Office downstairs in the Associated Students & Multicultural Center Building (next to the UCen). The folks there will answer any questions they may have. Chances are if students have  previously served in student government, they’ll have an idea of what AS is all about, but rest assured AS is more than just meetings. AS is about passions, change, most importantly it’s about students!
