INTRODUCTION
This past year, the UCSB AS Public Safety Commission worked to increase the level of safety throughout Isla Vista and the UCSB campus. The commission focused on all safety issues concerning the student body and encouraged better relations and communication with the Isla Vista Foot Patrol, California Highway Patrol, UC Police Department, and the Office of Student Life. To encourage this the commission organized projects and campaigns pertaining to public safety.
